In order to work offshore, you often need to complete e-learning courses offered by both Working Together for Safety (SfS) and the Norwegian Oil Industry Association (OLF), as well as courses required by operator companies.  In addition, a significant number of rig companies and contractors/service companies have their own internal e-learning courses.  All these courses are taken through Trainingportal – The Industry Portal for e-learning courses.

For å kunne arbeide offshore stilles det ofte krav til å gjennomføre e-læringskurs som tilbys av både Samarbeid for Sikkerhet, OLF og operatørselskapene. I tillegg har et stort antall riggselskaper og kontraktør/serviceselskaper egne selskapsinterne e-læringskurs. Kursene tas på Trainingportal – Bransjeportalen for e-læringskurs.
